PLAYEREDGE

Terms of Use

Effective 1 October 2026 · PlayerEdge is operated by QuantMax, Australia

These terms are the agreement between you and QuantMax, which runs PlayerEdge. They cover the PlayerEdge web app, the iPhone app and the service behind them. By creating an account or using PlayerEdge you agree to them. Please also read the privacy policy.

The short version

What PlayerEdge is

PlayerEdge teaches poker through lessons, drills, a coached practice table and online games played for Edge-Cash, a points currency with no cash value. It is free to use and supported by ads, with an optional paid Pro subscription. The strategy it teaches is educational and comes with no promise of results at real tables. PlayerEdge does not offer gambling: nothing can be staked, won or withdrawn as money, prizes or anything of monetary value.

Who can use it

Your account

Playing fairly and safely

Don't:

Zero tolerance for abuse. Usernames and trade messages are filtered, and you can block or report any player from their profile, a trade offer, a friend request or the table. We review reports within 24 hours and remove offending content and the accounts behind it.

Ads and rewarded ads

Invites and gifts

When a friend creates a new PlayerEdge account with your invite link, you get the reward shown in the app (currently a Diamond Case Key), within the daily limit shown there. Invites must be genuine: rewards from fake, duplicate or self-made accounts may be removed. Gifts and promotions are virtual content under the rules above, and we may change or end them.

Our content and yours

PlayerEdge, its lessons, charts, art, sounds and software belong to QuantMax and its licensors. You may use them only to use PlayerEdge for yourself; don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer them except as the law allows. You keep ownership of anything you write, such as your username and messages, and give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to show it in PlayerEdge and to moderate it.

Suspension and ending

We may warn, suspend or close accounts, and remove virtual content gained by doing so, if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other players. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why. You can stop using PlayerEdge and delete your account at any time. If we close your account without good reason while you have paid for Pro, we will refund the unused part.

The service

We work to keep PlayerEdge running well, but it may sometimes be unavailable or have errors, and we may change, add or remove features. If we stop running PlayerEdge, we will give reasonable notice in the app and refund the unused part of any Pro period.

Consumer guarantees and liability

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion. If you live in the UK or EEA, you also keep your rights under your local consumer law.

Apart from those rights, and to the extent the law allows: PlayerEdge is provided "as is"; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of virtual content, which has no monetary value; and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Disputes and governing law

If something goes wrong, email [email protected] first; most problems can be fixed quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms, for example when PlayerEdge changes or the law does. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and tell you in the app before a significant change applies; if you don't agree, you can stop using PlayerEdge and cancel Pro. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Questions: [email protected].
